Established property corners are among a Land Surveyor’s most valuable tools. When working on a property, surveyors are responsible for reproducing the property boundaries exactly as they were originally established. Without historical records, this task can be next to impossible to accurately complete. The acquisition of HBW provided records from 1880 when the firm was founded by Edward B. Hayward of Easton, Massachusetts. Since that time, HBW has acquired the records of numerous other Land Surveyors throughout the area. Many of the original property corners have long since been lost, but with the reclaimed field books, calculation sheets and plans, we are able to reproduce the actual property locations established at the time of the original surveys. Below is a list of records owned by TFI.
