President Christian A. Farland nominated for the SouthCoast Emerging Leader Awards
At Thompson Farland, Inc. we are always striving to be more than just a great business, but to also carry on the legacy of the engineers and surveyors who helped to create what our company is today by being active members of our community.
Our very own Christian A. Farland, P.E., LEED AP, President and Principal Engineer, is being honored by the City of New Bedford for doing just that.
The SouthCoast Media Group, the SouthCoast Business Bulletin, SouthCoast Young Professionals Network, Leadership SouthCoast, Charlton College of Business at UMass Dartmouth, and the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce have come together to host the first annual SouthCoast Emerging Leader Awards. This event celebrates five young New Bedford leaders, dubbed the SouthCoast 5, and the passion, commitment, and advocacy each leader brings to the community.
The SouthCoast Emerging Leader Awards will be held Wednesday, April 23 from 5:30-7:30 at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
We are more than excited about this incredible honor and the opportunity it brings for our business. As Mr. Farland says, “We are making it happen.”
